As US expatriate tax specialists we can guide you through the maze of US legislation governing expatriates such as the “sourcing” of income and deductions. For some of our clients, stock option income is an example where the IRS requires reporting and “sourcing” of that income between US and foreign source in quite different ways from, say, the State of New York or indeed the UKs tax authorities which tends to create either opportunties or headaches!
