E-Filing

We are one of very few US tax firms outside the United States authorized by the IRS to e-file tax returns.

We choose to e-file as many US Federal and State returns as possible for any of our clients who are interested. This is quite a distinct change from the traditional paper tax returns that most of us have filed in the past.

Our clients tell us (quite loudly!) that the reasons they e-file with us are:

Faster refunds that come through in 6-8 days instead of waiting 6-8 weeks

Guaranteed receipts are obtained from the IRS so we all know the returns have arrived

Increased accuracy because IRS processing errors are eliminated

Increased security of delivery as against relying on the Post Office

Reduced costs of postage and savings of time previously needed to send certified mail to the IRS
